To whom it may concern,
As a journalist working to tell the facts of Christianity into mainstream media markets, I’ve come to some conclusions about attitudes toward faith in Jesus Christ. Media consumers vary from apathy to great misconceptions about who God is, and how to have a relationship with Him. To be frank, sin has made delivery of the pure message of Christianity clouded, complex, and often inaccessible to those who need it most.
An audience that is eager, open, and receptive to the Gospel is with those who are under the age of 12. Children who have a conscience and mind that is still unclouded by ego, poor choices, or selfish pursuits. Jesus urged His disciples to welcome children, and that call continues today.
When a child is given a DVD, it is still a treat; they value it and receive its message openly. They still contain a wonder and curiosity about God. When a child begins to watch The Story of Jesus for Children (ages 5 to 105), they openly receive the historic message of Christianity, and they ask parents, grandparents, siblings and friends to sit and watch it with them. Frankly, working parents, often too tired to be active after work, are relieved to sit quietly with their child and watch a movie which beautifully explains the meaning of the Christian cross.
The Story of Jesus for Children is a timeless classic that is well produced, received with a stamp of approval by all Christian denominations, Protestant and Catholic, and accompanied by a great website. We owe it to our children, receptive as they are to messages of all kinds, to invest in their lives with the truth about Christianity.
I heartily recommend distribution of this DVD to children far and wide.
Sincerely,
